Harbour Asset Management Limited (Harbour) is the Manager of the Hunter Diversified Private Credit Fund. 

Hunter’s Diversified Private Credit Fund provides exposure to non-bank lending both directly and via third-party managers, offering a moderate risk profile and monthly subscriptions and redemptions. It caters to investors wanting less investment risk than the longer-dated illiquid strategies of private equity or venture capital. Hunter has a track record of delivering stated performance objectives in similar strategies for over 7 years.

The Fund focuses on directly supporting New Zealand businesses through private, non-publicly traded investments. While this implies some illiquidity, our diversified portfolio structure provides regular repayments through amortisation and loan maturities.

Once fully deployed, with a portfolio expected to comprise over 40 borrowers across sectors and structures, the Fund provides broad access to private credit markets. This depth supports consistent income, lowers concentration risk, and offers greater flexibility to manage liquidity over time. Few private credit strategies in New Zealand offer this level of diversification.

The Fund combines Harbour’s own origination and underwriting with allocations to specialist third-party managers. This approach expands our reach across the fragmented private credit landscape, capturing a broader set of opportunities.
